Never enough glue
I can’t remember keeping glue in my house as a kid. Maybe we did, and I just don’t recall. I’m not saying we didn’t. Today in our house we have so many types of glue. We have school glue (of course), ModPodge Glossy, ModPodge Matte, wood glue, fabric glue, superglue, glue sticks, and glue gun sticks (small and large). We also have two different types of adhesive sprays. I’m pretty sure there are other types of glue as well but that’s all I can think off of the top of my head.
Even with all these different types of glue and purchasing them in sizes comparable to vats we are always purchasing more glue – we buy almost as much glue as we buy toilet paper and paper towels and that’s saying something since we have a household of nine people. So much glue. Glue for school projects. Glue for Girl Scouts. Glue for making puzzles into wall art. Glue for assorted projects we do throughout the year. Glue, glue, glue.
If only I had had the foresight to invest in glue futures when I was younger.
